LHH is partnering with a reputable insurance company based in downtown Portland to hire a Receptionist! This role offers an excellent opportunity to start your career in the insurance industry, with the potential for growth into an account management position. Job Title: Receptionist with career advancement opportunity! Hours/Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break
Location: Downtown Portland, OR (next to Lincoln High School). Parking is provided. Duration: Temp to hire position, with potential for conversion to a permanent role based on performance. Pay increase upon conversion and after obtaining the required company-paid license. Pay Rate: $19-$20 per hour, with a pay bump upon conversion and after obtaining the insurance license. Responsibilities:
Reception Duties: Greet visitors, answer phones, and manage basic administrative tasks.
Administrative Support: Perform various administrative duties as assigned to support the office and team.
Career Path: Focus initially on reception duties with the goal of transitioning into an account manager role within a year.
Software Utilization: Use MS Office for daily tasks and communication.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a professional setting is preferred. Insurance industry experience or an insurance license is a plus but not required.
Education: No degree required, but a degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

Eager to learn and grow in a professional setting
