Job Title: Senior Civil Litigation Paralegal
Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 per year
LHH is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team in Portland, OR. This hybrid role offers a unique blend of remote and in-office work, providing flexibility and a supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and possess exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation from inception to trial, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained and filed.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts.
- Prepare and organize exhibits, evidence, and trial notebooks.
- Attend court proceedings, depositions, and client meetings as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Paralegal certification from an ABA-accredited program (preferred)
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in civil litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
