Job Title: Senior Paralegal
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in-office/2 days remote after training period
Salary: $75,000-$95,000
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Paralegal with family law experience to join our client's team in Portland, Oregon! The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Oregon Family Law experience and the ability to work independently and proactively on cases from start to finish. Knowledge of local and state laws, the ability to mentor and assist team members, and excellent client care and communication skills are essential for success in this position.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage all stages of litigation
  • Provide exceptional client service, working both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Prepare for and attend trials, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings
  • Read and interpret tax returns, K1s, and other asset statements
  • Utilize strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to assess client matters independently and contribute to case strategy development


Qualifications:
  • At least 5+ years of family law experience in Oregon
  • Specialized knowledge in the division of assets—including real property, retirement funds, investments, stocks, life insurance, business formation documents, trust, and estate documents—and the related tax implications
  • Proficiency in all stages of litigation, including preparing for and attending trials, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings
  • Thorough understanding of local and state filing rules, procedures, and terminology
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to adapt to various technology systems (Adobe Acrobat, Tracers legal research, Caret Legal, and Net Documents)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employee and client information
