Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Portland, OR

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-hire, Fully Onsite

Salary: $60,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detailed-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. The Staff Accountant duties include keeping precise financial records, adhering to accountant standards, and supporting financial analysis. The preferred candidate should have experience in general ledger accounting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and handling month-end closing activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Assist with month-end closing processes
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field??preferred
  • 3+ years of GL accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
