Job Title: Trust and Estates Paralegal
Location: Lake Oswego, OR (Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
LHH is seeking an experienced Trust and Estates Paralegal to join our client's legal team in Lake Oswego, OR. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working three days on-site and two days from home. The successful candidate will provide support to attorneys in managing trust and estate matters, including drafting documents, maintaining client files, and assisting with probate and trust administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Assist with probate and trust administration, including preparing and filing court documents
- Manage and organize client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and properly maintained
- Coordinate with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals to gather necessary information
- Conduct legal research related to trust and estate matters
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist with the preparation of estate tax returns and other related documents
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in trust and estate law
- Working knowledge of OR local and state laws and regulations
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Paralegal certification preferred
