LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Construction company located in Poway, CA to hire an individual for a Senior Accounts Receivable and Collections Analyst role. The position will start onsite and move to a hybrid schedule after a training period. The client is experiencing a lot of growth and prides themselves on the company culture and work life balance.

Position overview: This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts receivable and collections process for over 700 accounts. The individual in this role will have a strong background in accounts receivables and collections, dealing with larger and smaller accounts.

Duties:

• Collect on past due balances and contact clients by phone, email and mail.

• Maintain and keep accurate data and information on clients and communicate any updates to management including additional action to be taken

• Process lien releases and waivers and monitor delinquent accounts

• Work with third-party collections as needed for past due accounts

• Creates and reviews AR aging reports with leadership and strategizes on follow up plan

• Assist accounts receivable in processing and applying payments to customer accounts

• Reconcile accounts and analyze and resolve discrepancies

Skills and Education Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

• Minimum of 5 years of similar experience in a similar role

• Strong collections experience required

• Knowledge of lien releases and lien waivers is a plus

• Experience with Microsoft Office products

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and follow-up skills
