Responsibilities of this Tax Accountant include:

• Prepare and file high volume of tax returns among multiple states, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations

• Fully manage all things sales tax related for the two entities

• Conduct tax audits and reconciliations, identifying opportunities for tax savings

• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data

• Create financial reports

• Help with additional ad hoc projects

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors required

• 5+ years of experience in an Accounting or Tax Analyst type capacity

• Strong proficiency in Avalara and Microsoft Excel

• Prior exposure to Great Plains is preferred

• High understanding of sales tax laws and regulations

• Analytical and organizational
