Job Posting: Part-Time Non-Profit Accountant

Location: Fully Remote
Hours: 10-20 hours per week

We are a dedicated non-profit organization focused on making a positive impact in the healthcare community. Our team is passionate about our mission, and we are looking for a skilled Part-Time Accountant to join us in supporting our financial operations.

Position Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Non-Profit Accountant to assist with essential accounting functions. This role is fully remote and offers flexibility, making it ideal for individuals looking to contribute to a meaningful cause while managing their time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payments and manage accounts payable/receivable.

  • Create and modify budgets in collaboration with program managers.

  • Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to support decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and regulations.

  • Assist with monthly reconciliations and financial tracking.

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in accounting, specifically within a non-profit environment.

  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.



Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
