We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions on a temporary basis.

Job Title: Temporary Senior Accountant (AP/AR)

Salary: $35- $40/hr.

Location: Princeton, NJ

Employment Type: Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the AP and AR departments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports related to AP and AR activities.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of AP and AR operations.
• Ensure all AP and AR activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve any issues.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to AP and AR.
• Provide guidance and support to the AP and AR teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on AP and AR, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Information:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (flexible).
• Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
