LHH is looking for a Front Desk Administrator in Raleigh who will be responsible for managing the main office reception area, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, handling basic inquiries about programs, assisting applicants with initial application processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. This is a Contract to Hire position, 37.5 hours/week Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 PM. Pay is $19/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reception Duties:
    • Greet and direct visitors to appropriate staff members.
    • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, routing calls to the correct department.
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
    • Manage visitor log and access control.
  • Application Support:
    • Provide general information about programs and eligibility requirements to potential applicants.
    • Distribute applications and assist applicants with initial paperwork completion.
    • Collect and verify basic application documents.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Manage incoming mail and distribute it to appropriate staff.
    • Maintain accurate applicant files.
    • Data entry and record keeping.
    • Schedule appointments as needed.
  • Compliance and Customer Service:
    • Adhere to all regulations regarding confidentiality and data privacy.
    • Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
    • Resolve basic issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for clients.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
