Job Title: Payroll/Benefits Coordinator

Location: Raleigh, NC

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll/Benefits Coordinator with over 10 years of expertise in managing payroll across multiple states, including Canadian payroll for a client in Raleigh, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage multi-state payroll, including Canadian payroll, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • Utilize ADP and SAP systems for accurate payroll processing.
  • Leverage Ceridian for payroll processing where applicable.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with vendors on payroll and benefits-related issues, ensuring prompt resolutions.
  • Perform data analysis using Excel, including pivot tables and Vlookups, to support payroll operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits, including enrollment, changes, and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor payroll tax filings, garnishments, and deductions, ensuring compliance across states and Canada.
  • Assist in audits related to payroll and benefits, preparing necessary documentation.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in ADP and SAP is required; Ceridian knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of multi-state and Canadian payroll regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and Vlookups.
  • Experience managing vendor relations in the payroll/benefits domain.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.


Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
