Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Pay Rate: $23–$24/hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire


Position Overview:

A well-established company in Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their team. This position supports both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, along with general office administration. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

  • Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment

  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve billing discrepancies

  • Maintain detailed records of AP transactions

  • Prepare check runs and coordinate electronic payments including ACH and wire transfers

  • Assist with closing duties and financial reporting at month-end

Accounts Receivable

  • Generate and distribute customer invoices

  • Record incoming payments and update customer accounts accordingly

  • Follow up on past-due balances and assist in reconciling customer accounts

  • Support AR reporting, including aging analysis and audit documentation

Office Administration

  • Monitor and manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed

  • Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and packages

  • Assist with meeting coordination, calendar management, and internal communications

  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting and operations team


Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in an accounting support role

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills



Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
