Senior Accountant - Remote

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s accounting team in Redwood City, CA. This full-time direct hire position is fully remote, but applicants must be in the Bay Area.

The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller, and will be responsible for processing AP and AR, reconciling general ledgers, posting journal entries, and building relationships with clients. This role requires at least 4 years of experience and would be a great fit for an applicant looking to grow professionally.

Responsibilities:

· Post journal entries

· Perform GL reconciliations

· Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

· Review payroll and expense reports

· Maintain general ledgers and vendor files

· Build professional relationships with assigned clients

· Some travel required for client visits

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required

· Minimum 4 years of experience required

· Understanding of balance sheets and income statements

· QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Bill.Com experience required

· Excellent organizational and communication skills
