Job Title: Benefits Administrative Assistant Location: Renton, WA Job Type: Full-Time – Contract Reports To: HR Manager/Benefits Manager
LHH is actively interviewing Benefits Administrative Assistant to join our clients Human Resource team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in managing employee benefits programs and other employee benefits. This role is fully onsite, full time and short term in length (Contract)
Key Duties:
Address employee questions regarding benefits, including eligibility criteria and coverage details.
Facilitate the enrollment process for both new hires and during annual open enrollment periods.
Manage and update records of benefits enrollments, modifications, and terminations within HRIS systems.
Handle the coordination and processing of COBRA notifications and other related benefits documentation.
Compile and submit necessary reports and benefits-related documents.
Provide support for benefits program audits, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in HR or benefits administration.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits administration software is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
