Job Title: Leasing Agent
Location: Renton, WA
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Employment Type: Temp, 3 months
Pay Rate: $20-24/hr
Position Summary:
The Leasing Agent supports the Community Manager in coordinating the operations of HUD/RD or Tax Credit properties, providing quality housing to eligible individuals in multi-family dwellings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Community Manager in overseeing property operations to maintain maximum occupancy through outreach and marketing efforts.
Guide new residents through lease signing and orientation.
Prepare and submit timely weekly reports while maintaining organized records.
Ensure that prospective residents complete applications and deposits in line with company and Fair Housing requirements.
Implement company policies as outlined in the operations manual.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state business regulations, including displaying required notices and posters.
Show apartments, process applications, and verify resident income eligibility during initial, interim, and annual certifications.
Complete resident move-in checklists and coordinate utility transfers.
Clearly explain rental agreements and community policies to residents.
Update availability reports and process applications for management review and approval.
Greet prospects, qualify them using set criteria, and record interactions.
Collaborate with the Marketing Director to achieve marketing goals.
Work Environment:
This position offers the opportunity to work at two tax credit properties, promoting a welcoming and positive living environment for residents while supporting company goals.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
