LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity in downtown (parking provided) Richmond, Virginia, working a hybrid schedule after training.

Duties include handling accounts payable, reconciliation, journal entries, general ledger, financial reporting, assist with budget preparation and taxes, running reports and other accounting functions as needed.

Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 2+ years of general accounting work experience. Someone who has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, able to prioritize and meet deadlines. Must be proficient with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office to include Excel.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday in office; Fridays work from home

Contract Pay: $28 to $34 an hour

Must pass a criminal background check and education verification.
