Job Title: Accountant – Direct Hire

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Are you a detail-oriented and experienced accountant looking to join a dynamic team in Richmond, VA? LHH is seeking an Accountant to work with a leading firm in Richmond, VA. The Accountant will manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support the firm’s financial operations. If you have a bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Support audit preparations and respond to audit inquiries.

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Permanent Salary Range: $55K to $65K
