Legal Administrative Assistant
LHH is hiring for a Legal Administrative Assistant to work in the office in Richmond to support attorneys with a range of clerical and administrative responsibilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and consistent support for legal matters. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is available immediately for 6 weeks to support on a temporary basis during a medical leave coverage.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct administrative assistance to one or more attorneys
Transcribe audio dictation (preferred but not required)
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
Maintain both physical and digital filing systems
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external contacts
Help manage deadlines by maintaining calendars and sending timely reminders
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn specialized legal software (e-filing systems, transcription tools, etc.)
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
Strong typing and organizational skills
Able to manage multiple tasks and interact comfortably with a diverse group of individuals
Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
