LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal for a great law firm in Richmond, VA. The Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys with closing residential and commercial matters. This opportunity is contract-to-hire and fully on-site.
Location: Westend of Richmond, VA
Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM
Key Responsibilities:
Handle residential real estate transactions and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared accurately and efficiently
Handle purchase and sale files from beginning to end for both residential and commercial transactions
Maintain organized and detailed records, ensure all deadlines and requirements are met in a timely manner
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction; provide updates, answer queries, and address any concerns throughout the closing process
Conduct title searches and reviews to identify any issues or discrepancies that may affect the transaction
Coordinate with title companies and underwriters to resolve any issues as needed
Prepare and review legal documents such as purchase agreements, deeds, mortgages, and closing statements
Utilize SoftPro to manage and streamline the closing process
Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to facilitate smooth and efficient real estate closings; collaborate on complex transactions and provide support as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, with a focus on residential real estate closings; commercial real estate closing is a plus
Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures
Experience handling purchase and sale transactions from beginning to end
Proficiency in SoftPro software, highly desired
Permanent Salary Range: $55K-$65K
