Job Posting: Accounts Payable Lead

Location: Riverside, CA
Pay: Up to $35 per hour
Type: Contract, with potential for temp-to-hire

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Lead to join our team in Corona, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes, preferably with experience in the construction industry. This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming a temp-to-hire role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor communications.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and other AP-related items.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth AP operations.

  • Prepare and review AP reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the AP function.

  • Provide support and guidance to junior AP staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, with a preference for candidates with a background in the construction industry.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.



Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
