LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Claims Coordinator to join their office in Roanoke, VA. This position will sit onsite and assist with incoming claims related to workers compensation, personal injury or property damage. This position will be reviewing and investigating the claim information, collecting appropriate documentation and communicating with the involved parties (employees, insurance companies, individuals, etc.). The ideal candidate will have previous insurance experience, an associates degree or higher as well as strong communication skills. They would also love to find someone that has previous experience in the construction industry or a similar field. Responsibilities:



  • Collecting claim information for property damage, workers compensation or bodily injury claims


  • Ensure proper documentation is received.


  • Following up on outstanding information


  • Evaluating appropriate insurance coverage



Qualifications:



  • At least 4 years of insurance or legal experience


  • Construction industry experience ideal


  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred


  • VISTA software experience preferred


  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
