Position Overview: The Production Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth production operations. This position involves developing, monitoring, and adjusting production schedules to meet customer demands and operational capacity. Collaboration with production managers, customer service, and purchasing is essential, along with providing accurate reports and recommendations to peers and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor production planning to ensure alignment with customer demands and operational capacity.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with production managers, customer service, and purchasing departments.
Generate and present accurate reports on production performance to peers and leadership.
Understand each project's material and production requirements.
Collaborate with purchasing to ensure material availability.
Review the impact of pending engineering change requests.
Consider work in process while developing plans.
Create visual displays for production floor metrics.
Support bids by providing capacity estimates for future work.
Success Measures:
On-time completion of production work orders.
Reduction in last-minute changes due to misalignment.
100% on-time report delivery.
Qualifications:
Strong data analysis skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Effective communication skills across teams.
Experience in understanding material and production requirements.
Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities.
Salary range is $80-100 based on experience.
Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Company paid holidays.
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
