Medical Receptionist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and personable medical receptionist to join our healthcare client's team in Rochester, MN. This pivotal role is responsible for enhancing the patient experience by being the first point of contact for patients upon arrival. Key responsibilities include assisting patients with check-in and medical registration, managing appointments, verifying insurance, and performing various administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and assist with the check-in process.
  • Handle medical registration efficiently.
  • Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments as needed.
  • Verify patient insurance information.
  • Perform various administrative duties to support patient care and clinic operations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems. Knowledge of NextGen is a huge +!
Skills:
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, welcoming patients warmly.
  • Proficiency in using multiple software systems.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Details:
  • Pay: $21-$23/hr depending on experience
  • Schedule: M-F, Full Time, 8-5pm
  • Position: Contract to Hire.
  • Location: Rochester, MN
  • Work Environment: 100% Onsite
