LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a company in Schaumburg with a search for a staff accountant. This is a direct hire role and they are looking for someone who has strong GAAP as well as analytical skills. The staff accountant will support the team with month end close and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Month end close support

• Reconcile assigned accounts

• Journal entries and accruals

• Variance analysis

• Assist with monthly financials

• Audit support

• Assist with special projects

• Ad hoc reporting

Required:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accountant role

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Microsoft Excel pivot tables and look ups

• Excellent communication

• Analytical skills

• Familiar with GAAP

Salary: $55K-$65K
