Call Center Customer Service Representative position in Romeoville, IL!

Lee Hecht Harrison is seeking Order Processing Customer Support professionals to help drive market expansion for one of the USA’s most well-known accessory brands.   • Compensation Range: $18.50 - $19.00 Per Hour ($20.00 Per Hour After Training)

  • Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

  • Hours (Choice Between Two Schedules After Training):

    • Sunday – Thursday; 10:00am – 7:00pm (Sunday Hours are 8am-5pm)

    • Tuesday – Saturday; 10:00am – 7:00pm (Saturday Hours are 8am-5pm)

      • Open 7 Days Per Week (Some Weekends & Holidays Required)

      • 1 Hour Lunch Each Day

      • Full-Time / 40 Hours Per Week

      • Training Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm (3-5 Weeks On Average)

      • Standard Shifts / Hours (M-F; 8-5) become available based on company tenure

  • Worksite: In-Office / Onsite (Corporate Office)

  • Dress Code: Smart Casual

  • Report To: Director of Customer Service

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to a high volume of queued phone calls and emails in a call center environment (65-100 calls/day)

  • Processing orders of customer purchases, exchanges, returns, complaints, and handle client inquiries via telephone and email communication

  • Recommending products to customers based on needs, purchases, and client analysis

  • Typing detailed notes within a CRM and providing service failure updates to leadership in a timely fashion

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a call center or a phone-based customer service, order entry, or clerical role

  • Effective written & verbal communication skills and the ability to remain pleasant in customer interactions

  • Professionalism with a track record of great attendance and punctuality

  • Excellent attention to detail in notes and the ability to understand consumer needs and desires

  • Aspirations to grow within the organization (promotions are based on merit)

  • Strong typing ability – 40-45 wpm+ (Tested)
