LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client to =hire a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeping Specialist for a permanent opportunity in Roseville, CA. In this role you will handle all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable along with assisting the accounting team with General Ledger Postings and other tasks. Ideally you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial reports to support business operations.
PLEASE NOTE: All duties for this role are performed at the client’s office in Roseville, California.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger Management: Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.Monster
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Monster
Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data and generate reports.Monster+1Monster+1
Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and accurate financial records and files for audit and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
