Position Summary:

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Export Coordinator to join our client’s international logistics team based in Roswell, GA. This role is essential in overseeing ocean freight operations, ensuring adherence to global trade regulations, and streamlining transportation workflows. The ideal candidate will work closely with both internal departments and external partners to ensure exports are handled efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve freight and billing discrepancies by collaborating with plants, suppliers, and the Accounts Payable team. This includes researching issues in the ERP system and verifying proper GL coding.

  • Track and manage RBNI (Received But Not Invoiced) transactions in partnership with the Logistics Manager and Finance team.

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for operational concerns such as missed pickups, delays, driver detention, and documentation errors.

  • Analyze freight trends and shipping routes to recommend optimal carrier and equipment usage.

  • Assist the Data Integrity Coordinator in maintaining freight rates, customer charges, and supporting the annual freight bid process.

  • Ensure carriers meet safety, financial, regulatory, and service standards.

  • Provide logistics pricing insights to Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and New Product Development teams.

  • Identify inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing process enhancements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of transportation logistics, especially ocean freight and multimodal shipping.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical thinker with keen attention to detail.

  • Highly organized and comfortable working cross-functionally at all levels.

  • Proficient in spreadsheets, data analysis tools, and ERP systems.

  • Familiarity with transportation tendering and scheduling platforms.

  • Proven ability to work independently and contribute to team goals.

  • Adaptable and dependable in a changing work environment.
