HVAC Technician II

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading building services company to fill their open HVAC Technician II job in Rural Hall, NC. To qualify, you must have at least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar HVAC role. This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $30.00 and $37.00 per hour, depending on your level of previous experience. You will also be eligible for this company’s benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining, installing, moving, troubleshooting and repairing all related HVAC equipment.


• Monitoring and maintaining refrigerant, heat exchangers, HVAC equipment and systems, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; ensuring proper operation of equipment and making adjustments where necessary


• Responding to work orders and emergency service requests as needed


• Preventative maintenance


• Monitoring operating logs


• Diagnosing various systems and determining causes of any problems or malfunctions


• Assists with chemical water treatment program such as chilled water, condenser water and closed hot water loops (potentially with Electrical Journeyman)


• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical controls (potentially with Electrical Journeyman)


• Providing excellent customer service


• Maintaining tools and supply inventory


• Maintaining safe workplace and following all safety processes and procedures


• All other related tasks as required

  Qualifications:



• At least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role


• Excellent attention to detail


• EPA Universal refrigeration license preferred


• The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner


• Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA standards and Company safety policies


• The ability to read blue prints and technical schematics as well as specification manuals

  Schedule:



• Monday - Friday


• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


• Must be available on call for emergency services

  Compensation:



• Hourly rate between $30.00 and $37.00
