LHH is partnering with an innovative start-up in the cannabis industry, committed to delivering top-notch products and exceptional customer service. They are currently on the lookout for a talented and experienced Accounting Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conducting account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Participating in special projects and process improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of experience with AP, AR and Financial Statements
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
