Job Title: Customer Relations Representative Location: Sacramento, CA 95816 (100% On-Site) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Compensation: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
Overview:
A well-established insurance organization is seeking a Customer Relations Representative to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage a high volume of customer interactions with professionalism and empathy. The representative will play a key role in clearing a backlog of customer service queue items.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to high volumes of incoming customer calls and emails regarding status requests, grievances, and general inquiries
Provide compassionate, prompt, and professional service to all customers
Use active listening and effective questioning to resolve issues thoroughly
Escalate or route calls to appropriate personnel as necessary
Accurately document customer interactions and update records in internal systems
Assist with customer follow-ups and support analytical reporting
Contribute to process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
Collaborate with other departments as needed and participate in special projects
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree or technical school education preferred
6 months of relevant experience required; 1–2 years of call center/customer service experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
