Construction Bookkeeper

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accountant job for the corporate office located in Sacramento, CA. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience as an accountant or full-charge bookkeeper. The role will be responsible for assisting with the month-end close, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and assist with other projects as assigned. QuickBooks experience is a huge plus!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Field
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Solid knowledge of general accounting knowing your debits and credits (GAAP)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Comfortable with a fast pace, high volume, multi-tasking environment
- Strong communications skills (written & verbal)
- Team player, helpful, and willing to learn
- Reliable, dedicated, and organized
- Detailed, a problem-solver, and quick to learn
Experience: 3 years of experience as an Accountant (Staff Accountant. General Ledger Accountant, Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable)
