LHH seeks a full-time Credentialing Specialist in Sacramento, CA. The Credentialing Specialist ensures that all healthcare providers within the network are appropriately credentialed and privileged, in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

This position is ONSITE

As a vital member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and accurate credentialing process for our esteemed healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the entire credentialing process, encompassing physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and other staff members, ensuring a comprehensive approach.

  • Facilitate the enrollment of healthcare providers with insurance networks, Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payers, navigating the complexities of the enrollment landscape.

  • Ensure all necessary forms and documentation are completed accurately and submitted promptly, minimizing delays in reimbursement and maintaining efficient processes.

  • Conduct thorough background checks and primary source verifications, ensuring the accuracy and validity of information provided by healthcare providers.

  • Identify discrepancies or red flags during the credentialing process and take proactive measures to address them promptly.

  • Stay up-to-date on all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to healthcare credentialing, maintaining a current and comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers regarding credentialing inquiries and issues, fostering positive and collaborative relationships

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED is required.

  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment, preferably in a hospital, medical group, or managed care setting.

  • Showcase a robust knowledge of credentialing standards, regulations, and best practices within the healthcare landscape.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in using credentialing software and databases (e.g., CAQH, NAMSS PASS, MSOW), ensuring efficient and accurate processes.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in all aspects of the credentialing process.




Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
