We are on the hunt for a Director of Operations to oversee all departments and operational functions. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage plant and department managers, build effective teams, and ensure smooth operations across various functions! Not your typical 8 to 5 job – we need someone who is flexible and ready to commit 45-55 hours a week to drive our operations to new heights! Key Responsibilities:
Lead and implement facility strategies.
Align daily operations with the company's broader goals.
Monitor sales and market trends, collaborating with sales teams to meet production demands.
Ensure compliance with inventory and transfer regulations.
Approve and document items set for sale before production.
Drive results in production quotas, labor standards, profitability, and budget management.
Oversee distribution operations, including delivery schedules and compliance.
Manage relationships with third-party route providers.
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to staff.
Oversee hiring and termination processes.
Implement and comply with company policies and procedures.
Maintain and negotiate a steady supply chain of materials.
Develop strategies for departmental improvement.
Foster a positive workplace culture and manage complex situations effectively.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Knowledge of diverse business functions (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service).
Practical experience with data analysis and performance metrics.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office and business software (ERP, CRM).
Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Advanced mathematical skills and ability to perform visual quality inspections.
Must be 21 years of age or older and pass a background check.
Required state permits, licenses, and certifications.
Ability to travel between sites as needed.
Benefits:
