Enrollment Specialist


Responsibilities:



  • Provide proficient phone support to address inquiries from brokers, employer groups, and members regarding eligibility and enrollment matters.


  • Regularly communicate eligibility requirements and enrollment status updates to brokers, employer groups, and internal departments.


  • Handle basic enrollment processing tasks, including additions, terminations, ID card orders, PCP changes, and address updates received via email or fax.


  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of enrollment requirements outlined in the Evidence of Coverage Handbook and Group Service Agreement.


  • Ensure data entry accuracy and meet timeliness targets of 97% or higher.


  • Collaborate closely with Individual Sales and Premium Billing teams to resolve escalated cases effectively.


  • Actively participate in meetings and technical calls as required.


  • Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in enrollment, preferably within an HMO setting.


  • Previous experience with Facets Application Software is highly desirable.


  • Flexibility to work extended hours during regular work weeks and Saturdays, especially during Open Enrollment periods.


  • Intermediate proficiency in computer skills, including electronic mail, database activities, word processing, and spreadsheets.


  • Proficient in creating formulas and graphs in Excel and integrating them into Word documents.


This position is onsite in Sacramento, CA | Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM | This role has potential to go hybrid
