Are you a self-starter with a proven track record in payroll supervision? We are looking for a confident and experienced individual to step into a leadership role with a company in Sacramento, CA. This role is in office daily. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Payroll, Accounts Payable and all g/l reconciliations needed to support the month end close for AP and Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient payroll systems.

• Coordinate timekeeping systems and oversee payroll changes and system upgrades.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax obligations.

• Manage garnishments, wage deductions, and administer retirement plans and other employee benefits.

• Process and reconcile payroll to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare and review payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Supervise and coach payroll staff to maintain high performance and compliance.

• Liaise with auditors for payroll tax audits and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to streamline payroll procedures.

Qualifications:

· Payroll experience at least 2 years

· Human Resources and Benefits Experience 1 year

· Software: Payroll experience with UKG & Sage

· Leadership experience: No less than 3 years.
