$32.00 - $36.00 per Hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with one of our clients looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Staff Accountant for the office located in Sacramento, CA. The job is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial operations of the company. You will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Support the annual audit process
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
  • Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Software experience with a medium to large ERP (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience: 2 years of experience as an Accountant (Staff Accountant, General Ledger Accountant)
