LHH is seeking a Bilingual Case Manager to join our team in Sacramento. This hybrid position involves working closely with our legal team to support unaccompanied undocumented minors (UUM) by providing essential social services. The ideal candidate is a licensed social worker with exceptional communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to advocating for minors navigating complex legal and social situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the legal team to support minors in legal cases.

  • Conduct intake assessments for UUM clients and develop client-centered plans focused on stabilizing needs and providing necessary support.

  • Connect clients with culturally and linguistically appropriate resources and services, including school enrollment, healthcare, and family support based on specific needs.

  • Provide psychoeducation and coping skills to minors and youth to help them adapt and thrive.

  • Maintain accurate records for program monitoring and evaluation, supporting grant reporting as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred; however, candidates with substantial firsthand experience in social services will also be considered.

  • Required: Fluency in Spanish.

  • Preferred:

    • LCSW certification.

    • Experience in child welfare, child placement, family preservation, behavioral health counseling, or similar social services.

    • Skills in program monitoring and evaluation for grant reporting.

    • Additional language skills in Farsi or Dari are a plus.
