Responsibilities:
- Review subcontractor billing for accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Manage subcontractor compliance, including bonds, insurance, waivers, and billing accuracy.
- Confirm contract status for new subcontractor billing.
- Maintain accurate Project Cost Report.
- Investigate any unbilled project costs.
- Maintain financial project files.
- Assist in the financial aspects of project close-out.
- Handle additional assignments as requested by accounting supervisors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in construction accounting.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Clear understanding of contract types (Construction Manager as Agent, Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), Lump Sum, Cost Plus).
- High sense of urgency and ownership of work, with a demonstrated ability to manage to deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
