Position: Staff Accountant

A professional recruitment firm is seeking a Staff Accountant for a client in the St. louis area. The ideal candidate will have a background in general ledger accounting functions. Compensation: 65,000-80,000 annual (Flexible upon experience)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle general ledger accounting tasks, including posting journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.

• Daily reconciliation of bank transactions and cash accounts.

• Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and sub-ledger balances.

• Support the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely coding and processing of transactions.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes.

• Assist the Controller with other ad-hoc projects.

Primary Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience.

• Sound knowledge and application of GAAP.

• NetSuite experience/ other accounting software experience
