Trust and Probate Paralegal - Salem, OR

LHH is looking for a talented Trust and Probate Paralegal for their client in Salem, Oregon. Get the opportunity to work for a firm with a national reputation and support an attorney who is one of the top estate planning attorneys in the country. Pay: $50,000-$70,000/year DOE Location: Salem, Oregon - In office 5 days/week Billable hour requirement: bill 3.5x their salary so it isn't hourly billable goal but very obtainable Responsibilities

• Work with settlement counsel to ensure the clients trust estates are administered seamlessly
• Ensure trust assets are properly distributed to designated beneficiaries and final accountings are completed and filed
• Liaison directly with the Trustee and the clients
• Facilitate the administration process from beginning to end

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree with a major in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or another related field and/or at least 3+ years of experience in estate planning, estate, and trust administration, or related field.
• Familiarity with the Oregon and federal estate tax system and Oregon Uniform Trust Code.
