Job Opportunity: Remote Patient Financial Services Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Billing -Patient Financial Services Specialist for a confidential client. This 100% remote position is essential due to the growing demand for managing billed, unbilled, and certificate of medical necessity (CMN) accounts to secure reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Registration and Financial Clearance: Obtain and verify demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information to pre-register and financially clear patients for service delivery.

• Insurance Verification: Conduct insurance eligibility and benefit verification, referral and authorization, and provide financial education on designated accounts.

• Patient Interaction: Communicate frequently with patients, family members, guarantors, and physicians' office staff to deploy key activities.

• Liability Notification and Collection: Notify patients or guarantors of liabilities, collect payments, and refer appropriate cases to Financial Counseling for follow-up.

• Patient Experience Enhancement: Enhance the patient experience through telephone-based interactions, demonstrating knowledge of the health system and service offerings.

• Identity Authentication: Authenticate patient identity throughout all essential functions.

• Logistics and Wayfinding: Provide logistics and wayfinding information to patients.

• Revenue Cycle Compliance: Perform revenue cycle tasks to ensure compliance and exceptional customer service.

• Regulatory Adherence: Maintain knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Standards of Conduct, and company policies and procedures to ensure adherence in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of insurance verification and financial clearance processes.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with patient registration and accounting systems.

Shift Information:

• Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 06:00) based on MST hours
