Job Title: Benefits/LOA Specialist

Location: El Cajon, San Diego


Duration: Temporary



LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits/LOA Specialist to join our clients team on a temporary basis in El Cajon, San Diego. In this role, you will provide critical support in managing employee benefits and leave of absence (LOA) programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other offerings

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leave of absence requests, ensuring timely processing and compliance with FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and other applicable laws

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including benefits enrollment and LOA documentation

  • Educate employees on benefits options and leave policies, addressing inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality

  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless benefits administration and accurate leave tracking

  • Monitor and report on LOA usage and benefits-related metrics


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration and LOA management

  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other leave regulations

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion


Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

  • Full-time

  • Onsite

  • Monday – Friday

  • 8:00am-5:00pm PST


Details:

  • Located in El Cajon, San Diego

  • Contract (3 month contract role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate)

  • Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 per hour DOE
