LHH is partnering with a leading company committed to delivering excellence in their industry to hire a Billing Analyst in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes and contributing to their reputation for outstanding customer service. This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

Job Summary: As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing large and complex sets of billing data, preparing various billing reports, and presenting billing information to clients. You will work closely with our finance and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely billing, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of our billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze large and complex sets of billing data to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies.

  • Prepare various billing reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Present billing information to clients in a clear and concise manner, addressing any queries or concerns.

  • Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of improved billing processes and procedures.

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, index match, and sumIF functions to manipulate and analyze data.

  • Occasionally use SQL, PowerBI, or Tableau for data extraction and reporting (experience with these tools is a plus).

  • Maintain a strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar billing analyst or financial analyst role.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, index match, and sumIF.

  • Experience with SQL, PowerBI, or Tableau is a plus.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.



Pay Details: $29.00 per hour
