LHH is partnering with a growing company to hire a DMV Clerk. Our client offers a flexible and early schedule starting as early as 6:30 am, opportunities for advancement, and a great team culture. Job Description: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and professional DMV Clerk to manage various administrative and customer service tasks related to vehicle registration and licensing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a keen eye for detecting potential fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the paperwork and processes for transferring vehicle titles, including resolving discrepancies or issues.

  • Coordinate and oversee vehicle inspection processes, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

  • Provide advanced customer support, addressing complex inquiries, and resolving complaints related to vehicle registration and licensing.

  • Maintain and update databases related to vehicle registrations, titles, and owner information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy laws.

  • Identify and investigate potential fraudulent activities related to vehicle registrations or titles.

  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of new DMV policies or regulations, including training staff on changes.

  • Prepare and analyze reports on registration statistics, trends, and compliance issues for management review.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in related fields is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

  • Ability to identify and investigate potential fraud.

  • Familiarity with DMV policies and state regulations.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and databases.
