LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Education and Events Manager to join our client’s growing nonprofit located in San Diego, near University City. This is primarily a remote position, but candidates must reside in San Diego for occasional office visits and in-person events. We are seeking someone with a strong background in event planning and experience in the continuing education industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate educational programs, workshops, and events (both virtual and in-person)
Develop event timelines, manage budgets, and oversee logistical arrangements
Collaborate with speakers, industry experts, and vendors to ensure high-quality content and seamless event execution
Manage event marketing, communications, and attendee registration
Ensure compliance with continuing education accreditation standards
Handle post-event evaluations and feedback to assess effectiveness and identify improvements
Qualifications:
3-5 years of event planning experience, with a focus on the continuing education industry is preferred
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Must reside in San Diego, CA for office visits
Experience with virtual event platforms and event management software
Ability to work independently while being a part of a small, dedicated team
Working Hours:
40 hours per week

Monday – Friday
8:00am-5:00pm PST
