LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Education and Events Manager to join our client’s growing nonprofit located in San Diego, near University City. This is primarily a remote position, but candidates must reside in San Diego for occasional office visits and in-person events. We are seeking someone with a strong background in event planning and experience in the continuing education industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate educational programs, workshops, and events (both virtual and in-person)

  • Develop event timelines, manage budgets, and oversee logistical arrangements

  • Collaborate with speakers, industry experts, and vendors to ensure high-quality content and seamless event execution

  • Manage event marketing, communications, and attendee registration

  • Ensure compliance with continuing education accreditation standards

  • Handle post-event evaluations and feedback to assess effectiveness and identify improvements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of event planning experience, with a focus on the continuing education industry is preferred

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Must reside in San Diego, CA for office visits

  • Experience with virtual event platforms and event management software

  • Ability to work independently while being a part of a small, dedicated team


Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

  • Full-time

  • Remote

  • Monday – Friday

  • 8:00am-5:00pm PST
