LHH is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a job in San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of bookkeeping and a strong understanding of accounting principles. Experience working in or supporting small businesses is highly valued, as is prior use of Sage Intacct ERP. The anticipated salary for this role is between $70,000-$80,000 annually
Responsibilities:
Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including A/P, A/R, payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and journal entries
Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Work closely with management on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Liaise with external CPA/tax preparers as needed
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reporting
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a full-charge bookkeeper (3+ years preferred)
Small business experience is highly preferred
Proficiency with Sage Intacct ERP is a strong plus
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
