Job Title: Remote Grant Writer

Location: Fully Remote (Must reside in California)


Job Type: Full-Time


Work Hours: Standard Business Hours (PST)


Job Description:


LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Grant Writer with a proven track record of success in securing funding for nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience as the lead writer on winning private and government grant proposals, along with grants management experience. This role requires strong research, writing, and organizational skills to identify funding opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the organization’s mission

  • Write and submit high-quality grant proposals for private foundations and government agencies

  • Manage the full grant lifecycle, including application, reporting, and compliance

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and supporting materials

  • Track grant deadlines, funding requirements, and reporting obligations

  • Maintain relationships with funders and provide updates on grant-funded programs


Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years of experience as the lead writer for winning grant proposals

  • At least 2 years of experience in grants management

  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills

  • Must reside in California and be available to work standard business hours (PST)

  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred but not required

  • Non-profit industry experience is highly preferred


Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

  • Full-time

  • Remote

  • Monday – Friday

  • 8:00am-5:00pm PST
