LHH is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Receptionist to join our client's team in Serra Mesa. The ideal candidate will have full open availability to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, between Monday and Sunday, from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm. This role is vital in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk operation within our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Greet and check in patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor

  • Answer and direct phone calls, providing accurate information and routing inquiries as needed

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the calendar for healthcare providers

  • Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy

  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scanning documents

  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation

  • Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and excellent service

  • Address patient questions and concerns, providing timely and helpful responses


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus

  • Previous receptionist or customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with healthcare management software

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings


Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

  • Monday- Sunday

  • Full open availability to work 5 days a week, 8 hours shifts from 6:30am-10:30pm

  • No overtime hours

  • Open-ended temp role with the possibility to go permanent

  • Located in Serra Mesa, San Diego

  • Compensation: $23.42 per hour, increase upon conversion

  • Light travel near by
