Job Title: Housing Navigator

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay: $25-26 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in navigating the housing system, including identifying and securing affordable housing options.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' housing needs and eligibility for various programs.
  • Provide ongoing support and case management to ensure clients maintain stable housing.
  • Collaborate with landlords, property managers, and housing authorities to advocate for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Educate clients on tenant rights and responsibilities, as well as available community resources.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in housing navigation, case management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of housing programs, resources, and tenant rights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations.
