Human Resources Generalist

Location: Bankers Hill, San Diego



A well-known non-profit organization in Bankers Hill, San Diego, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our client’s team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional passionate about fostering a positive workplace environment while supporting organizational growth.


The HR Generalist will manage various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, workers compensation, and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding

  • Assisting employees with benefit inquiries and processing enrollment changes

  • Addressing employee relations issues and facilitating conflict resolution

  • Maintaining compliance with labor laws and non-profit industry standards

  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency

  • Assisting with payroll and ensuring accurate timekeeping


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a non-profit setting but not required

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Availability to work on Saturdays


Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

  • Full-time

  • Onsite

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday -Saturday/ Wednesday & Sunday off

  • 8:00am-5:00pm PST
